Feedly alternative
A Feedly alternative you describe in plain English
Feedly is a full news reader: you follow sources, sort them into folders and, on paid plans, filter them with AI. MyFeed works the other way around. Write what you want to follow in a sentence, and it builds a feed from more than 200 RSS sources and news outlets. Read it on the web or get it by email, for free.
What do you want to follow?
You create a free account to save the feed. No card needed.

What MyFeed does differently
- 1
Describe topics instead of curating sources
Write what you want to follow, like "open source AI models" or "climate tech funding". MyFeed scans more than 200 RSS sources and news outlets and uses AI to keep the stories that match. You never build a source list.
- 2
A daily email you do not have to open an app for
Turn on a daily or weekly email digest for each feed and read it in your inbox. You do not need to open a reader to keep up.
- 3
Free, without a trial
Up to 3 custom feeds, email digests, bookmarks and More or Less reactions cost nothing. No card is needed to sign up.
Where Feedly is stronger
Feedly is a mature reader, and it does a lot that MyFeed does not.
- Many exact sources: 100 feeds on the free plan, up to 1,000 on Pro and 2,500 on Pro+.
- Power filtering on Pro+: AI Feeds built from AI models and AND, OR, NOT queries, plus mute filters and deduplication.
- Notes, highlights and search across your sources on Pro.
- Integrations with Evernote, OneNote, Buffer, IFTTT and Zapier on Pro, and Slack, Microsoft Teams and an API on Enterprise.
- Team feeds and boards, SSO and onboarding on Enterprise, plus threat and market intelligence products.
- Native iOS and Android apps.
Who should pick which
Pick Feedly if
- You already know the sites and blogs you want, and you want every post from them.
- You follow dozens or hundreds of feeds and want folders, search and notes.
- You share research with a team or send articles to other tools.
Pick MyFeed if
- You know the topic but not the best sources for it.
- You want a few focused feeds, not a long list of sources to manage.
- You would rather get a daily email than open a reader app.
- You want it free.
You can also use both: keep Feedly for the sources you read every day, and add a MyFeed email for a topic you want covered without hunting for sources.
Coming from Feedly
Feedly can export your followed RSS feeds as an OPML file from its web app. AI Feeds and Boards are not part of that export.
MyFeed imports OPML, but it does not copy your subscriptions. Each entry becomes a topic feed named after the source, and MyFeed searches for stories on that topic instead of reading that feed directly. Each one counts toward your 3 free feeds, so it is often simpler to describe the two or three topics you actually read.
Try a public topic feed first
Ready-made topic feeds are open to everyone. Open one and start reading, no sign-up needed.
On the home feed, More and Less reactions move a source's stories up or down on your device. Custom feeds, bookmarks, reactions and email digests need a free account. Pro, with unlimited feeds and hourly refresh, is planned but not available to buy yet.
