Inoreader alternative

An Inoreader alternative you describe in plain English

Inoreader is a power user's reader: you subscribe to feeds, sort them into folders and, on Pro, add rules, filters and AI. MyFeed works the other way around. Write what you want to follow in a sentence, and it builds a feed from more than 200 RSS sources and news outlets. Read it on the web or get it by email, for free.

What do you want to follow?

You create a free account to save the feed. No card needed.

Inoreader and MyFeed at a glance

Inoreader plans and prices are as listed on inoreader.com on October 31, 2026, in US dollars, and may change.

How you build a feed

Inoreader

You subscribe to RSS feeds and organize them into folders. Pro adds monitoring feeds, rules and filters.

MyFeed

You describe a topic in a sentence. MyFeed finds the matching stories for you.

Free plan

Inoreader

Up to 150 RSS feeds, with ads, 10 translations and 5 text-to-speech articles a day.

MyFeed

Up to 3 custom feeds, refreshed daily, plus public topic feeds you can read without an account.

Paid plans

Inoreader

Pro $7.50 a month billed annually, or $9.99 billed monthly. Custom: a quote for teams.

MyFeed

None for sale. Pro is planned but not available to buy yet.

AI

Inoreader

On Pro: article summaries, suggested tags and intelligence reports, with the option of your own AI provider key.

MyFeed

On every custom feed: AI scores each story against your description.

Email

Inoreader

Email digests on Pro.

MyFeed

A daily or weekly email digest for each feed, on the free plan.

Exact sources

Inoreader

Follow the feeds you choose. Pro adds newsletter feeds, web feeds for sites without RSS, and Facebook, Bluesky, Telegram and VK feeds.

MyFeed

No. You cannot subscribe to a specific RSS address. MyFeed chooses the sources.

Integrations

Inoreader

Pro: IFTTT, Zapier, n8n, saving to Evernote, OneNote, Raindrop.io, Instapaper, Readwise and more, and an API.

MyFeed

None. You can export your feed list as JSON or OPML.

Apps

Inoreader

Web, iOS and Android apps, and a browser extension.

MyFeed

Web only. It works in a mobile browser.

What MyFeed does differently

  1. 1

Describe topics instead of curating sources

Write what you want to follow, like "open source AI models" or "climate tech funding". MyFeed scans more than 200 RSS sources and news outlets and uses AI to keep the stories that match. You never build a source list.

  2. 2

A daily email you do not have to open an app for

Turn on a daily or weekly email digest for each feed and read it in your inbox. You do not need to open a reader to keep up.

  3. 3

    Free, without a trial

Up to 3 custom feeds, email digests, bookmarks and More or Less reactions cost nothing. No card is needed to sign up.

Where Inoreader is stronger

Inoreader is a mature reader, and it does a lot that MyFeed does not.

  • Many exact sources: 150 feeds on the free plan and 2,500 on Pro.
  • Power tools on Pro: rules, filters and monitoring feeds that watch searches for you.
  • Newsletters, sites without RSS and social accounts as feeds on Pro.
  • Integrations with IFTTT, Zapier, n8n and read-later services, plus an API, on Pro.
  • AI summaries and intelligence reports on Pro, with your own provider key if you want.
  • Native iOS and Android apps.

Who should pick which

Pick Inoreader if

  • You already know the sites, newsletters and accounts you want, and you want every post from them.
  • You follow many feeds and want rules, filters, folders and search.
  • You send articles to other tools or automate with IFTTT, Zapier or n8n.

Pick MyFeed if

  • You know the topic but not the best sources for it.
  • You want a few focused feeds, not a long list of sources to manage.
  • You would rather get a daily email than open a reader app.
  • You want it free.

You can also use both: keep Inoreader for the sources you read every day, and add a MyFeed email for a topic you want covered without hunting for sources.

Coming from Inoreader

Inoreader can export your subscriptions as an OPML file. Rules, filters, monitoring feeds and saved articles are not part of that file.

MyFeed imports OPML, but it does not copy your subscriptions. Each entry becomes a topic feed named after the source, and MyFeed searches for stories on that topic instead of reading that feed directly. Each one counts toward your 3 free feeds, so it is often simpler to describe the two or three topics you actually read.

Try a public topic feed first

Ready-made topic feeds are open to everyone. Open one and start reading, no sign-up needed.

On the home feed, More and Less reactions move a source's stories up or down on your device. Custom feeds, bookmarks, reactions and email digests need a free account. Pro, with unlimited feeds and hourly refresh, is planned but not available to buy yet.
